Vivo has introduced the latest mid-range and quite fascinating V series phone-V 27 Pro. Vivo V27 Pro comes with the latest Dimensity 8200, a new design, new camera features, and more.

The Vivo V27 Pro comes in two variants-first has 8GB RAM and 128 GB storage at the price of 37,999 at Indian Price and around 50,000 at Bangladeshi price. The pre-booking of this device started on 1 March 2023 and It will be available to purchase offline and online from 6 March 2023.

However, the question is, at this price tag, will Vivo V27 Pro be able to make customers happy with all its features? Why should you buy this phone? Why not? Things I will explain as well as a review of the Vivo V27 Pro Review to help you to choose it or not.

Unboxing

  • User Manuals and Warranty Card
  • USB Type A-C cable
  • 66W Adapter
  • Protective case
  • Sim Ejector Tool
  • Premium Vivo V 27 Pro Handset

Design

The Vivo V27 Pro catches your eye at first glance. It is a lightweight phone as it weighs just 182g. This larger but lightweight phone is suitable for those who are not comfortable carrying heavy smartphones.

The phone has a USB-C port, volume rocker, and power button on its right edge but the disappointing point is the lack of a 3.5 mm headphone jack which may disappoint you with weird headphones. The phone’s all buttons can be used properly and timely and you can use it comfortably with one hand.

The great change of this handset is its thickness. Vivo has shaped their phone down to an impressive 7.36mm by making it the thinnest phone with a curved edge screen ever.

The back panel of the phone comes with an impressive-looking feature which is covered by ‘Fluorite AG’glass which has unique color properties.

The glass reflects different color that depends on the condition of light. You guys have noticed the color change once under direct sunlight when it turned into a thick dark blue shade. However, the Vivo V27 Pro is available in two colors-Noble black and Magic

Blue. Vivo V27 Pro comes with a triple-lens camera on its back, the camera module is huge and makes the phone better and stunning. Apart from the three camera modules, there is also a 4Th LED Flash Ring which is introduced with us as Aura Light. It’s not a camera lens. After seeing the picture below, you will understand it clearly.

This handset is made of glass on both sides but doesn’t make with Gorilla Glass protection, which is a pity. Both sides are covered with an aluminum frame, whereas the right edge has the volume rocker and power play button while the left edge is vacant. The top frame has ‘Professional Potrait’ engraved on it.

Display and Audio

The Vivo V27 Pro is made of an AMOLED 6.78-inch FHD+ display with 1080 resolutions,120Hz refresh rate 240Hz touch sampling refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. The brightness of the phone is up to 1300 nits and it has 1.07 billion colors that take you to the colorful world and makes it feel like a theatre experience.

The top and bottom bezels of this phone are quite thin. For biometric authentication purposes, the phone comes with a display fingerprint scanner feature. The front panel is protected with slightly curved glass. You can choose colors from Standard, Pro, and Bright profiles from the screen settings option. But the Standard color is more beautiful than the two others.

Having 120 refresh rates, the phone can playback contents at 60 Hz,30 Hz, and 24 Hz with frame divisions as well producing smoother motions and transitions. But higher refresh rates require extra power, which means  the phone’s 120 Hz refresh rate effect a negative impact on the phone’s battery and performance

The exact resolution of the panel is 1080*2400 pixels or 388PPI. The color depth is 8 bit for over 16 million colors. One can choose the brightness depending on their needs. The screen is brighter when the auto-brightness mode is on. But that time your battery will be down quickly though you can brighten your display when you play games.

Regarding the audio feature, when you will be calling, the speaker of this phone sounds loud. You can play music on it in a room and hear from a little distance. If you want to listen to music using wired headphones, you will not find a 3.5mm headphone jack on this phone. You will have to use Bluetooth headphones or wireless headphones.

Performance

The Vivo V27Pro comes with MediaTek Dimensity 8200 and is coupled with up to 12 GB of RAM. The processor is based on the 4nm 5G chipset. With the density, this phone possesses best-in-class clock speeds with its four Cortex-A78 cores going up to 3.1 GHz.While these cores are used for heavy tasks like gaming and Photoshop. This processor is one of the fastest in the android world which was used IQOO NEO 7 at first.

The 12GB RAM can hold all lightweight apps and social media apps for a long time. Everything will seem fast and smooth when you are in calling, social media scrolling, video streaming, gaming, or many other things for a long time. The phone will never be heated which is the best part of this phone.

The Vivo V27 Pro is the best option for gamers because of handling long gaming sessions. Heavy games like Call of Duty, and Asphalt 9 are played at maximum mode very well. For best animations, you can set the refresh rate at 120 Hz.

The terms of software, the Vivo V27 Pro runs Android 13. This time, Vivo has added some new software like iManager, more options for video editing and various types of colorful and uncommon themes and wallpaper, new options for battery privacy, personalization, and so on. It doesn’t have any SD slot.

Camera

With a 50 MP Sony IMX766V lens, Vivo V27 Pro has four cameras, three at the back and one at the front. The photos of the cameras are detailed and sharp. The Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) integrated into the lens is highly appreciated for minimizing the impact of shaky hands on the image. There we found an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. One best part is that you get to use Aura Flash with portrait mode.

Vivo V27 Pro is captured stunning images in natural light, colors are quite accurate as well as the dynamic range and the detail of images are enough good. In low light conditions, the primary lens works well but when images are zoomed in, the details get lost.

The 50 MP front-facing camera will give you sharp photos but it changes the skin color tone slightly which is unnatural. But if you prefer a warm color tone, you may like it.

The 2 MP macro camera captures decent photos. It requires the best result in a good lighting area. Moreover, you must keep the subject and camera enough steady to get a clear image.

Now the terms of selfie camera. The phone is a suitable choice for those who love to take selfies and photos regularly. The selfie camera comes with classic filters that make you more beautiful to look. But if you love the natural skin tone, you can avoid filters.

When it comes to talking video performance, the Vivo V27 Pro does not fail to impress you. Its camera can record 4k videos at both 30 and 60 fps with a high image stabilization system which is noticeable.

Battery Life

Vivo V27 Pro comes with a 4600 mAh battery with 66W fast charger. But nowadays, maximum phones come with 5000mAh with 80W to 100W fast charging. Vivo V27 Pro could have given a bigger battery, but the device would not have been slim. If you are a regular user, the battery lasted for an entire day. However, if you are a heavy user, then you will have to charge it twice a day.

The Vivo V27 Pro is a stylish phone with a stunning design, color-changing back panel property, excellent camera, and performance, you can avail of it for under 40k Rs.
