Design

The Find comes in an elegant-looking two-tone design. The Oppo Find X6 Pro design is a breath of fresh air in the sea of bar phones. The leather version is not only two-tone in terms of colors, But also in materials. With the vegan material interrupted from the middle of the camera ring by a glass section rising to the upper edge of the phone. It looks beautiful, and the leather gives a warmer feel to the palm and added grip traction.

The camera module is massive. But it’s required since the triple camera sensors here, especially the primary camera’s 1-inch sensor are very huge by phone standards. The round camera module is encased in a textured bezel, with a dot at the bottom that resembles the camera lens alignment marking seen on “real” cameras.

I found the phone to be slightly broad and hefty, whether it’s due to screen curvature, hole-punch cutout location, or overall size and weight; the phone has an IP68 water and dust-resistant classification. The haptic engine is robust and accurate, as it is in the OnePlus 11, and there are dual speakers that are adequate but not as good as those in the iPhone 14 Pro.

Display

The large 6.82-inch 1440p display is protected in front by the newest, strongest Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Because of the slightly curved display edges, the punch-hole selfie camera, and the small top and bottom bezels, the Find X6 Pro has a staggering 93.5% screen-to-body ratio, making it one of the best in class.

Despite shaving off the bottom bezel where the screen controller and cable assembly are situated for a symmetrical design, Oppo adjusted the newest LTPO 2.0 OLED display panel technology to produce the brightest display on the phone by a wide margin.

The Find X6 Pro also has per-unit display calibration for optimal wide-gamut coverage right out of the box.

Oppo was the first to launch the dynamic 1Hz-120Hz display refresh rate and factory-level color calibration, and it has never looked back, refining its phone displays with each new version.

Aside from the record-breaking screen brightness and compatibility with Dolby Vision or HDR10+, the display sparkles at 2200 nits while watching HDR material.

Those who are out and about all day in the warm and sunny summer months would also benefit from squeezing any additional nit from their phone screen. So we conducted a brief impromptu test outside to check if everyone’s peak brightness claims stand up in reality. Furthermore, outdoor visibility is affected by a number of additional elements, such as screen coating and reflectivity, as well as display contrast.

Camera Quality

The phone has a triple camera system. The main camera on the Oppo Find X6 Pro is, predictably, the same 50MP Sony IMX989 1-inch type sensor that has been featured in previous top phones from Xiaomi and Vivo. While this lens is easily the greatest camera sensor in smartphones today, people who follow the Chinese flagship smartphone scene will recognize it. The Find X6 Pro is the sixth phone in the last seven months to employ this sensor.

The main camera on the Find X6 Pro has all the characteristics of a big image sensor, with very shallow depth-of-field providing powerful bokeh and a more organic feel with less processing.

As with other phones that use the IMX989 1-inch sensor. The incredibly narrow depth-of-field gives images a more professional appearance. But it may also be negative since sections of a subject can be slightly out of focus if they’re a couple of inches closer or further from the sensor. In general, larger sensor cameras create pictures with far more depth than smaller sensor cameras.

Performance

Given the show on tap, you’d have plenty of reasons to. The Find X6 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which is combined with a sizable 16GB of RAM. To accommodate even the most ardent multitaskers, It additionally pools an extra 4GB of virtual memory from the huge 512GB of onboard storage. The green and black glass variants start with a more standard 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage while the vegan leather model starts with 16GB and 256 GB.

Android is a treat to use, with apps launching in a flash and operating brilliantly two-up in split screen mode. Aside from the preinstalled applications, the UI will seem very similar to anybody who has used an Oppo or OnePlus phone in the last few years, with an easy-to-use fast settings tray and a global search (with customized widgets) available with a swipe.

It also performed admirably in every game we put at it, The screen resolution is also Full HD-and-a-bit out of the box, Rather than the full 32001400, which relieves the load on the chipset. Over the previous Find X5 Pro, a graphite cooling system and larger vapor chamber helped it stay cool under load as well. While it warmed up after an hour of gaming, it wasn’t enough to impede performance.

Battery life

The good news is it charges very, very fast. It can be topped up at 100W speed with the included charger. From my testing, the phone could go from 0 to 100 in a bit over 28 minutes. There’s also wireless charging, with speeds up to 50W if you use Oppo’s proprietary wireless charger.

Last Verdict

Oppo has been positioning itself as an innovator in the mobile photography arena. The Find X6 Pro appears to be the final confirmation of that. The presence of three primary cameras increases the bar and challenges Apple, Samsung, and Huawei in their domination of camera metrics. The periscope lens that Oppo initially introduced has returned after years of hiatus. While the MariSilicon X NPU continues to dazzle despite being more than a year old. Of course, it does not disappoint as a smartphone. With strong technology, a brilliant and vivid display, and a sleek design, it’s far from ideal. But there are solutions to address or at least alleviate those minor difficulties.
